Oslo Runway Day 2
Oslo Runway is so much fun and Im having such a nice time checking out the new collections. Yesterday was no exception and my day started out with Veronica B. Vallenes AW18. The venue was the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design. When we arrived there was a special room in the seventh floor that looked like nothing I have seen before, almost like a dungin. I thought it was really exciting to see the collection there because of the great light and weird “backdrop”. So they opened a second room also that the models started walking in and then through the grey grey room that I was in.
A collection that feels very controlled and clean that makes you look sharp and ladylike at the same time. Showcased in a visually exciting room that sets the scene of modernism.
I love that her collection is so ladylike and feminine but still masculine because of the colors. I’ts also very minimalistic and clean that gives it that Scandinavian style. I saw several pieces that I loved. And my highlights form thi scollection is the black long jacket with the belt in the waist paired with the black trousers underneath. I think that looked so great and really showed off the models figure. I also loved the beige colour in the collection, the checkered coat and the falir pants with a cut in the side.
