Sweet pear salad recipe.

As sweet as you

Today I have done something that I normally don’t do with this blog but figured out was a smart idea. I’m going to make recipes and share with you here. And that is because I really enjoy cooking and making different dishes. I usually end up taking a photo of what I have made in Insta stories or Snapchat. And the feedback I often get is questions about what I have made and how they can make it too. Usually I just create something from whatever we have at home. I don’t plan very carefully what I’m going to make. So therefor I thought I should try to make recipes and present them here on the blog instead. Since I love cooking so much it would just be fun for me to make recipes that I can share in a better way with friends, family and blog readers. So this is the first recipe in line. It is a sweet oven baked pear salad with kale, broccoli, feta cheece and more. I hope you enjoy it and try out the recipe. It is a really good dish either as a side dish or as a main course.

Sweet pear salad

For 4 persons as a side dish
or 2 persons as a main course

4 small pears
3 handful of green cabbage
Half a broccoli
2 medium carrots
1/2 tablespoon of honey
1/4 red onion (or less)
1/2 lemon
90 g of feta cheese
A handful of walnuts
A handful of purple stone-free grapes
Extra virgin olive oil
Balsamico
Salt and pepper

Put the oven on 150 degrees hot air.

Cut the pears in two and remove the scrap and the stem. Divide the broccoli into smaller pieces and put in an ovenproof dish. Put the pear pieces over and pour the honey evenly on the pears and broccoli. Season with salt and pepper before putting it in the oven on hot air 150 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Peel the carrots with a cheese slicer or peeler so that you get long fine slices. A nice trick is to peel a few times on one side, then lay the carrot on the cutting board while peeling the slices on the opposite side. Cut the red onion into slices and put in a bowl together with green cabbage, carrot and lemon juice. Mix together with feta cheese, olive oil, salt and pepper. Divide the grapes into two.

Take a nice plate and put the salad on it. Take out the ovenproof dish and put the broccoli and pears nicely around the salad together with the grapes. Finish with a delicious balsamic vinegar on top.

Recipe in Norwegian below

Søt pæresalat

Til 4 personer som tilbehør
eller 2 personer som hovedrett

4 stk små pærer
3 never grønnkål
En halv brokkoli
2 mellomstore gulrøtter
1/2 spiseskje honning
1/4 rødløk (eller mindre)
1/2 sitron
90 g fetaost
En neve valnøtter
En neve lilla stenfrie druer
Extra virgin Olive oil
Balsamico

Bland dette i bollen før du deler druene i to.

Ta et fint fat og legg salaten på den. Ta ut av ovnen og legg brokkolien og pærene fint rundt på salaten sammen med druene. Avslutt med en deilig balsamico på toppen.
